I have seen these in Walmart before (been a long time since I looked though), well I saw them on Aunt Ruthies blog too and I just really wanted to get one. Tonight Hubby and I went to dinner and stopped in to Wally World. I went to the candle section to find absolutly NO Farmstand Candles . I thought maybe they'd be online, but nope not there either. -------------------- |

I posted a picture of this on my "Autumn Comes to the Little House" thread, but I thought (if you were just looking for a cute cannister for your candle!) you might be interested in this! It's from the Dollar General and I think it's WAY cute! It comes in a variety of down-home-type fragrances which smell just FABULOUS! Mine is in "Apple Butter" and it's just yummy! Plus, I'm definitely going to use the container when the candle burns completely down! It's so cute! Maybe I'll put some daisies in it for the spring... -------------------- My Blog "The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who cannot read them." -Mark Twain |

I know what you mean....I looked but our state doesn't have a Dollar General store and they don't have an online store so there is no way for me to get Farmstand candle either. I would gladly send the purchase price with shipping cost in advance (plus some extra for the trouble) to someone if somebody out there wants to go shopping for me!

I would gladly send the purchase price with shipping cost in advance to someone if somebody out there wants to go shopping for me! I was thinking the same thing, if someone had a left over candle maybe that they didn't want and was willing to sell it or something ahaha. I even checked on EBAY and didn't find any for sale there either. Happy hunting to you too -------------------- |

Honestly, the ones I posted are only $5 a piece so I'd be happy to send one to each of you if wanted! I can just tell you what fragrances they come in and you can tell me what you want! -------------------- My Blog "The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who cannot read them." -Mark Twain |

If you haven't found them already, JoAnn's also carries the Farmstand candles.... -------------------- ~*~Terri in Ohio~*~

Pinkfrosting, I got that apple butter one at Dollar General too. I couldn't resist for Fall. I haven't burned my yet though. I'm saving it! Carey -------------------- [size=4][b]Carey

There were a lot of Farmstand candles on the clearance rack at our Wal-Mart, so I figured they were not going to sell them anymore. They are at JoAnn's, like the other ladies have said. If it is any comfort, I think that the candles at Dollar General are made by the same company as Farmstand. If they had a contract with Wal-Mart and JoAnn's, they may not have been able to sell Farmstand brand candles at DG, but they are suspiciously close and smell equally as good. |
